Dad loved sports, he loved playing it watching it reading it listening to it. He was a very good footballer. He played at school and just carried through. He could kick the ball equally with both legs but don't brag . Dads nickname was Taffy . That was because the ball stuck to him like toffee. Dad also loved cricket , he played a lot when he was younger, he was a good bowler, he played at Seaton cricket club. Sometimes Mam my sister and I would help with the teas a proper family affair. Later he would go and watch cricket at Durham County Cricket Club with his group of friends at whinges corner. Dad had some great friends and I thank them all . Happy times x
