Dads mam and Dad had a confectionery shop on the headland but sometimes Dads mam helped out at the local pub that was just over the road from the shop . One day while his Mam was working in the pub Dad was waiting at the shop to be picked up by his Dad. But while Dad was waiting he thought it would be a good idea to put his finger through a small hole in the shop gate . Surprise surprise Dad couldn't get his finger out , it had stuck fast . Tried has he might it wouldn't come lose . After a while a small crowd had arrived all asking where his Mam was which my Dad promptly told them she was in the pub . Thank goodness his Dad soon ca me and saved him from the gate . Bless xxx
